Transport Minister Galal Saed inspected Monday the implementation of the fourth stage of the third line of the underground metro in Cairo.
The stage includes five stations namely Haroun, Heliopolis Square, Alf Maskan, el Shams Club and el Nozha.
The cost of this stage reached about 4.345 billion pounds.
The minister visited Haroun station in Heliopolis which has been partly finalized.
Saed inspected also Alf Maskan station, noting that the stage will be completely finalized in January, 2018.
The minister stressed the importance of implementing this stage of the underground metro which is a vital national project for its role in easing traffic flow in Cairo's streets.
He further reiterated that the underground metro network will accommodate about nine billion passengers daily.
