Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry, today announces a long term renewal with Conference & Travel, a member of the Travel Leaders Network based in Indiana. Under the terms of the agreement, Travelport will continue to serve as Conference & Travel’s primary travel technology partner and provide access to travel content including air, hotel, car rental and cruise lines via its Apollo platform. Ann Waters, president, Conference & Travel commented, “After a thorough review of technology solutions provided by GDS providers, we decided to renew with Travelport primarily due to the ability to maintain a familiar platform while also engaging with Travelport to implement their innovative solutions. Travelport delivers the functionality and advanced technology that we need to enable our agents to increase productivity and efficiency. Deployment of products like Travelport Smartpoint and Travelport Flight Options Integrator bring the immediate flexibility my agency needs to better serve our clients.” Scott Hyden, vice president and general manager, U.S. and Canada, Travelport, said, “We are delighted to extend Travelport’s long-standing relationship with Conference & Travel providing technology solutions that will help them continue to grow and succeed. This renewal demonstrates Conference & Travel’s confidence in Travelport’s innovative technology, extensive content and support infrastructure.”
