International hotel chain Hilton has signed a management agreement with Turkish IC Bomonti Uluslararasi Kongre Turizm Yatirimlari Ticaretto open its Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center. The 829-room hotel will have 11,000sqm of events space and be located in Istanbul's Sisli district, in the European side of the city, as C&IT online reports. This latest Turkish hotel will add to Hilton's offering in Istanbul, which now features six hotels across four brands, including the historic Hilton Istanbul which opened its doors in 1955. The hotel and conference center is expected to open at the end of next year and be located in a newly-built tower, spanning 35 floors and offering views across the European side to Asia. Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, said, ''Hilton has a wonderful history in Istanbul, having operated here for more than 57 years. This new Hilton will be a shining example of striking design and functionality, coupled with a world-class conference centre which will attract travellers from across the world.''
