Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health of the UAE, Mohammed Sultan Al Ulama, and Ambassador of Romania to the UAE, Adrian Macelaru, on Sunday met to discuss ways of promoting cooperation and the exchange expertise in the fields of healthcare and medical tourism.
During the meeting, Al Ulama, stressed that quality medical services and the strategic partnership with the private medical sector have put the UAE on the global medical tourism map.
The official noted that visiting Romanian doctors, nurses and medical technicians are welcome to perform complex surgeries in the UAE.
The Romanian ambassador expressed his country's desire to attract Emirati investments and exchange expertise in the areas of medical education, scientific research and medical facilities management.
