Zimbabwean Tourism Minister Walter Mzembi asserted on Thursday that Africa would make a great leap in the tourism field in 2020.
Mzembi, who also acts as Head of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), added that the African tourism could be developed by ending conflicts, treating diseases, introducing the modern technology in the field of visas' travel and immigration and providing more easier transportation means between African countries.
The African official made such remarks during the press conference held by South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda with chairman of UNWTO and attended by Head of Tourism Promotion Authority in South Sinai Salim Saleh and Head of Sharm El sheikh city Mahmoud Alsolia.
During the press conference, Mzembi and Egyptian officials signed a twinship agreement between Sharm El sheikh city and Victoria town of Zimbabwe.
