Aftermath of bombing on outskirts of Syrian capital Damascus
Syria's Local Coordination Committees (LCCs) have reported that 106 citizens, including 18 women and 13 children were killed across the country on Tuesday.
The committees added that rebel Free Syrian Army fighters
killed 20 Syrian soldiers, and two senior commanders from Lebanese movement, Hezbollah, during clashes at 126 different locations.
FSA also destroyed two Lebanese T72 tanks, halting Hezbollah's attempts to enter Damascus and surrounding areas.
Among the 106 fatalities in Syria, 40 civilians were killed in Aleppo, 21 in Damascus and its countryside, 12 in Idlib, nine in Daraa, seven each in Hama and Homs, three in al-Hasakah, three in Latakia and one each in Quneitra and Raqqa.
Four hundred and thirty points were bombed throughout Syria, with air raid reported in 41 places. The fiercest attacks took place on town of Sinjar, in Idlib, and Sayeda Zeinab and al-Hagar al-Aswad in Damascus. Scud missiles were used in the town of Kafr Hamra in Aleppo, and rocket bombing was reported in Ermnaz, Qusayr and al-Dar al-Kabira.
In the southwestern city of Zabadani, FSA rebels destroyed two heavy machineguns belonging to Hezbollah.
Aleppo also witnessed severe clashes with rebels targeting government forces with mortars. They attacked regime headquarters the area of Sheikh Saeed, and the neighbourhood of al-Rashideen.
In Raqqa, FSA bombed the band 17 brigade, and also pinpointed members of regiment 39.
