Al Azhar Grand Imam Sheikh Ahmed el Tayyeb asserted on Wednesday Al Azhar supports every attempt that may contribute to world peace.
The Grand Imam made the remarks during a meeting with new envoys named to represent Egypt in Morocco, Vatican, Bangladesh and Myanmar. He wished them luck and success.
Al Azhar has a two-month program for training imams and preachers on mission to provide them with enough experience to overcome challenges and deal with all issues of modern life, el Tayyeb said.
