A new investigation revealed that the American security services, appointed agents cannot speak fluent Arabic, and do not understand the differences between the largest extremist groups in the world, to communicate with ISIS supporters. The US Department of Defense stressed that the program of "WebOps" company is secret. The program includes 120 employees to target the audiences at risk of recruitment by ISIS militants abroad, to prevent extremism and disrupt terrorist propaganda.
US officials boasted last year that the initiative works through regular participation with the regional target audience, through language communication on the Internet, using real information consistent with the approved visions for ISIS supporters' audiences and try to prove its reversible.
Former employees in the program accused the company, which is based at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida, of appointing Arabic-speaking analysts, in the social media to communicate with extremists, cannot understand the language or the way they respond by on the processes of recruiting ISIS members.
Former employee that his colleague was ignoring some of the articles written due to it was written in Farsi or Urdu, and then she found that the messages were written in Arabic. The WebOps workers were follow up, through Twitter and other social media sites, the elements who show signs of extremism, and to engage with them under false identities in attempts to change their beliefs.
