The Arab Coalition targeted a “Houthis&Saleh” location east of El Nokob town in Shabwa governorate, in respond to attacks on Saudi areas, and according to local sources, this raid killed and wounded a lot of militias, adding that this strike was on time to stop the militias from attacking the National Army and the resistance forces.
Five Saudi citizens including a woman and a child were injured from military shells fired by Houthis elements from Yemen. Deputy spokesman of Civil Defense in Najran, Captain Abdullah Ala Fara’ said that, the civil defense forces followed a report saying that some neighborhoods in Najran were attacked, and the wounded were taken to the hospital, adding that all proper procedures were followed.
Arab Coalition command announced in a statement that, a Saudi “Black Hock” helicopter fell while carrying out its operations in Marib. This accident resulted in killing 12 Saudi soldiers, including 4 officers, 6 rankers, and 2 military soldiers. An investigation is being conducted to discover the reasons of this accident.
Saudi journalist, Ibrahim Al-Shaiban published a list of names and ranks of the helicopter victims. Among them are Abdulrahman Al-Shahrani, Faisal Bin Saud Al-Subaie, Ibrahim Al-Hawairni, Rayyan Bin Abdulrahman Al-Shahrani, Musa Bin Salem Al-Shehri, Ali Bin Yahya Al-Sheikhi, Nayef Bin Hassan Moawad, Ali Bin Abdulla Al-Halafi, Meed Bin Mohammed Al Qahtani, Mahal Bin Salem Al Rashidi, Ahmed Aqili, and Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Siyari.
Yemeni president, Abed Rabbo Mansour sent his condolences to Saudi king, Salman bin Abdulaziz, expressing his sadness over the death of the Saudi forces, while doing their job in Marib. He also praised Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting Yemen restoring security and stability after the militias’ attacks on the country, adding that the Yemeni people will not forget the role of the Saudi military forces with the National Army in defending the country.
