Heshmat: NFS closed the door to national dialogue
Revolutionary movements have been called to pray on Cairo’s Kasr Al Nil Bridge on Monday for the souls of the martyrs who died on ‘Rage Friday’ two years ago. The prayers will be followed by a peaceful
march to the Shura .
The call came at a press conference held by the numerous revolutionary parties. In a statement on Sunday the Muslim Brotherhood held the National Salvation Front (NSF) responsible for what it called "anarchy and bullying" taking place on Egyptian streets. The NSF on the other hand said that Morsi’s regime “uses the same mechanisms of former president Hosni Mubarak, so as to distort opponents."
The political force asserted that "the Interior Ministry is still used as a tool to suppress the opposition. Two years since the January 25 revolution, it has become obvious everybody is sure that Egypt has fallen under the control of a new gang- the Brotherhood- who are is seeking to dominate the State.”
Shura Council member for the Muslim Brotherhood Dr Gamal Heshmat, said in a statement Sunday that the NSF is responsible for what he described as "chaos and bullying," and claimed to have specific facts confirm the presence of some members of the NSF at the burning of some Muslim brotherhood facilities. Heshmat also accused the NFS of "closing every door to national dialogue,” and “mobilizing citizens over the past few days."
Dr Amr Hamzawy, a prominent NSF leader rejected the accusations, describing them as "defying the truth." He said, "These are the same techniques used by Mubarak. Distorting opponents and launching blind accusations against them.”
