Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria share identical viewpoints toward the Libyan crisis, affirmed Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.

The three countries are determined to exert tireless efforts to help the Libyans in reaching a consensus that meets the aspirations of the Libyan people, he added in a joint press conference held with Tunisian Foreign Minister Khamis Al Jehinawi and Minister of Maghreb Affairs, African Union and League of Arab States of Algeria Abdelkader Messahel.

"All sides are working on supporting this approach and we are looking forward to attaining fruitful results from the dialogues which were held, the last of which was the dialogue of the Libyan leaderships in Egypt," he added.

"We are contacting all the Libyan parties," he said, voicing hope that there will be a solution to the Libyan crisis to serve the interest of the Libyan people.
The main goal of the efforts exerted by Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt is to provide a suitable climate in order to let all Libyan parties involved to sit down at the dialogue table, said Tunisian Foreign Minister Khamis al Jehinawi.

"The Libyans themselves are the ones who will find the solution and decide the transitional phase and date of the elections," he added.

"There is a mutual will between Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria to help the Libyans reach a consensus," he added.

He, meanwhile, voiced optimism on the possibility of solving the Libyan crisis, despite its difficulty.

Minister of Maghreb Affairs, African Union and League of Arab States of Algeria Abdelkader Messahel, for his part, said that Algeria, Egypt and Tunisia are keen on attaining stability for Libya.

The instability of Libya has a negative impact on the three countries, he added.
