The general assembly of the Cassation Court slammed a statement on Tuesday issued by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on the Rabaa dispersal court rulings.
The statement issued by UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet was beyond the powers and competencies of the UN human rights body, the assembly said.
The assembly stressed that Egypt's judiciary was fair enough and followed constitutional and legal procedures before issuing any ruling.
The assembly also called on the human rights commission to reconsider its position on this issue and to seek accuracy before publishing any similar statements in the future.
A Cairo criminal court issued earlier in September a death sentence to 75 members of the terrorist-designated Muslim Brotherhood group in the criminal case known as "the Rabaa Dispersal Case."
All convicted have the right to appeal the verdict within 60 days.
In her statement about the trial, Bachelet criticized the trial and requested the appeal court in Egypt to overturn the death sentences.
