The Israeli army raised security measures on the borders with Egypt and deployed sophisticated sensor system along the new fence.
According to the Israeli daily Yediot Aharonot, the new measures will increase security along the 40km fence, especially around the 'Dune sector' as this is the most dangerous area.
Observers said the new measures will work as a sensitive web, which will send an immediate alert as soon as someone tries to breach the security barrier.
