The aftermath of the bomb explosion near the Israeli embassy in India
The Counter-Terrorism Bureau in Israel warned on Friday that attempts to execute attacks against Israelis worldwide were continuin. This came in the wake of alleged attacks on Isrealis in Thailand, Georgia and
India. A senior official in the Bureau called on Israelis abroad to be cautious and added that the advice was in light of information obtained during investigations on detainees suspected of carrying out the attacks in India and Bangkok. The "information" alleges that Iran and Hezbollah intend to continue their operations in the near future against Israeli targets in different countries. The official denied the warnings were related to specific countries and highlighted that "what is important is that everyone should be aware that further operations will be carried out and that Israel is making its efforts to prevent it."
The Secretary General of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah on Thursday denied the fact that the Lebanese outfit had any connection with the attacks, adding that Hezbollah would respond to the assassination of Imad Mughniyah and target senior Israeli officials.
The Israeli official stated that Nasrallah's threats were being studied and the proper preparedness will be performed.
The same authority warned citizens from traveling to Sinai and advised those who are currently there to leave immediately.
The Israeli reports said there was a state of high alert in the areas surrounding Israeli embassies and diplomatic missions in the world and asked the envoys to take all aspects of care and even change they daily routes.
Hezbollah still accuses Israel of killing Imad Mughniyah, while Iran accuses Israel of killing its major nuclear scientists in Tehran. The bureau claims that threats of retaliation are still imposed, particularly on businessmen and former senior officials either through assassination or kidnapping.
The bureau called on Israelis not to stay in the countries named in the warnings and to reject any tempting or unexpected business or entertainment offers, and also not to accept any unexpected interview invitations particularly in isolated areas or during late evenings. In addition, they were warned not to let any suspicious person enter their hotel rooms or residences, and to change the routes and usual restaurants, entertainment venues and hotels.
