Abdul Karim Al-Dughmi, the head of the House of Representatives
The Jordanian House of Representatives approved the general budget for 2012 by a majority of 74 votes out of 120. Meanwhile, representative Talal Al-Fouar accused Abdul Karim Al-Dughmi, the head of the House
of Representatives, of practicing dictatorship among the representatives. The accusation followed the representatives' request that the budget numbersbe reread. In return, Al-Dughmi replied: "I am practicing my job according to the internal law and I am not a dictator."
Al-Dughmi added that he could not ignore the representatives' demands of rereading the financial committee's budget numbers as "it was their right".
