Libya's military leader Khalifa Haftar called the international community for leaving the Libyan people to take the responsibility of their country, expressing readiness to ally with both Americans an Russians. He added that the libyans themselves should take their decisions, while the international community's role is to support these decisions.
Marshal Haftar criticized the UN Envoy to Libya Martin Copler for his efforts to support the national unity government headed by Fayez Al Sarraj, saying, "The Libyan people do not like Copler and call him the Satan." He stressed that the international community does not understand the developments witnessed in his country so it does not take the right decisions.
He added that he is ready to meet with Sarraj recognized by the international community without the interference of his supporters. He added, "Those people who support the national unity government are minority and focus only on the ways to achieve financial gains."
He added, "If the Russains and Americans decided to cooperate against terrorism, it would support us. We would support the both sides and ally with them."
He rebuked the French position from the Libyan crisis, saying that France supports peoplewith no authority. He stressed the need for international cooperation to overcome the current Libyan crisis
