Call for Palestinians to 'resume their struggle'
A member of the political leadership of Palestine’s Islamic Jihad Movement has stressed that the movement is preparing for a new war against Israel, especially with the current threats targeted at the Gaza
Strip. In a press statement on Saturday, the Islamic Jihad said that Palestinian groups are readying themselves for confrontation.
The Jihadist leader called for Palestinians to resume their struggle until achieving victory. He demanded that the Arab and Islamic world provide arms and money to the groups in the Gaza Strip, describing the Palestinian issue as the “central cause for the Arab nation.”
He expressed readiness to impede the ability of the Israeli Occupation, stressing that if the Palestinian resistance managed to gain arms, it would “surprise” Israel in its capability to attack key targets.
The Palestinian movement has also issued a warning to Israel, against strikes against the Gaza Strip during the coming period.
The Israeli Defence Minister, Moshe Yaalon, threatened to launch a new war against the Gaza Strip, if the Jihadists resumed launching missiles against Israel.
Leading member of Hamas, Ismail el-Ashkar, said that Hamas deal with such threats seriously, adding that the US provides the Israeli occupation with permission to commit war crimes against the Palestinian children and women.
He demanded the international community prevent the Israeli occupation from resuming its crimes, asking that world leaders do not ignore a new war against Palestinians in the Gaza strip.
