Ahmed Nasr, the head of Fatah for Gaza Strip, will be replacing Yahya Rabah Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has approved Ahmed Nasr as the head of Fatah for the Gaza Strip replacing Yahya Rabah. Fatah sources told Arabstoday that the movement is also reshuffling other senior officials in the Gaza Strip, including Ibrahim Abu Naja,
Faisal Abu Shahla, Abu Gowda Nahal, and Samih Nasr The movement denied it dismissed Yahya Rabah from his senior role saying he will still occupy a leadership position.
The same sources revealed that Palestinian Authority Fatah leader Nabil Shaath held intensive meetings with various leaders individually and collectively, to discuss the new arrangements for Gaza.
They also discussed how to unify with military leaders of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - provided they ended relationships with Hezbollah and Iran.
New Fatah Gaza leader Ahmed Nasr told Al-Quds newspaper that they aim to unify Fatah despite pressure to hinder attempts at unity.
