Palestinian demonstrators take cover from tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers during a protest in Hebron
A young Palestinian was shot dead in a clash between Israeli soldiers ans Palestinians in Hebron.
Hamdi Al-Fallah, 22, was shot four times -- in the knee, twice in the chest, and in the head by the Israeli forces. His own brother could not
recognise him at first.
Eye witnesses said that clashes between Palestinians and Israeli troops has erupted in the Be’r Al-Mahger area where young men threw burning wheels over the road. The Israeli troops opened fire in response resulting in the death of Al-Fallah. The Israeli troops prevented the Red Crescent ambulance from reaching him for more than 15 minutes. After doctors examined the body, they said he was shot from a very close distance. Eyewitnesses said that Al-Fallah attacked one of the Israeli soldiers with a sharp instrument, so the soldiers shot him.
On the other side, Rushdi Mahmoud Hassan Al-Tamimi, 30, died on Monday from his wounds. He was injured on last Saturday in clashes near the village of Nabi Saleh in support of Gaza. The bullet penetrated his stomach, and then he died in the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah after the bullet caused an internal bleeding.
Al-Tamimi was trying to save the lives of the injured in the clashes but was shot by an Israeli soldier. He was besieged by the soldiers who kept him bleeding for a while and opening fire on anyone tried to help him.
An 18-month-old baby was killed in an airstrike targeting al-Saraya in Gaza City.
Residences belonging to the families of al-Zour, Azzam and al-Qetatty were hit in the early hours of Monday, killing four people, including three children as over 40 people were injured, including children.
In two separate air raids on the southern city of Rafah, two men and an elderly woman were killed in the early hours of the sixth day of the Israeli operation.
