Local source revealed that elements of Qaeda executed a high-profile officer in Yemen’s Aben governorate working in the Protection Unit of the Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, hours after his kidnap on Sunday.
It added that the local residents found the officer’s body in a crossroads close to Wadea area, the birth place of the Yemeni president.
According to the source, the extremist elements suspended Colonel Abdullah Al Khedr Hussein in a checkpoint in the entry of Kedeira village then they led him to an unidentified place.
It is important to mention that it is the first time for the extremist group to kidnap an officer in Aben since the beginning of their activities there in February 2016 after the killing of the group’s leader in the governorate Abu Hamza Al Zengebari.
