The Egyptian-German Friendship Association (EGFA) Chairman Reda Sheta said on Sunday that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's visit to Germany has underlined Egyptian-German deep ties.
In exclusive statements to MENA, he pointed out at German Chancellor Angela Merkel's statement in which she asserted the importance of holding consultations and talks with Egypt in order to foster bilateral relations in political, economic and economic fields.
The EGFA also hailed Sisi's visit outcome including his talks with Merkel, German President Joachim Gauck, leader of majority of the German parliament as well as German businessmen council that includes more than 200 huge German companies working in various fields including industry, technology, power and infrastructure, Sheta further said.
He also stressed the importance of exerting more effort to explain the true situation in Egypt to German media including the government's efforts to restore security and stability as well as confront terrorism that is threatening Egypt and the whole world.
