Clashes continued, with a varied pace of violence, until after midnight between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and the rebel and Islamic factions on the other in Al-Bouhouth Al-‘Elmiyah area, west of Aleppo. Casulaties were reported at both sides.
Several explosions shocked this morning the regime-controlled Salamiyah city in the eastern countryside of Hama. Explosions turned out to be caused by several missile strikes on areas in the city, causing material damages. However, no casualties were reported.
A man, from Al-Hosayniyah village located in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, died of injuries sustained as a result of shelling by warplanes earlier on areas in the village. Warplanes, believed to be affiliated with the International Coalition, shelled after midnight places in Al-Salihiyah area in AlbuKamal countryside in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. Casualties were reported among ISIS members. Warplanes also targeted a vehicle, believed to be affiliated with ISIS, near Mahkan area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. Casualties were reported.
Violent clashes were renewed between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and al-Rahman Corps on the other in areas in Jobar neighborhood at the outskirts of Damascus and in other areas at the outskirts and in the vicinity of Ein Tarma town in the Eastern Ghouta. More casualties were reported at both sides.
The SOHR published last night that the regime forces targeted places at the outskirts of Ein Tarma town in the Eastern Ghouta and Jobar neighborhood east of Damascus with about 15 missiles, believed to be ground-to-ground. Missile strikes were followed by the eruption of clashes in the vicinity of Al-Motahalik Al-Janobi.
The SOHR also published yesterday that the number of people killed in the targeting of Mesraba town, located in the Eastern Ghouta, by the regime forces rose to at least 6 including the head of the Civil Defense. The regime forces targeted the area with a shell and then with another with a very little time span in between, leaving dead and injured as the second shell hit the area while rescuing, providing medical treatment to and transferring the injured left by the first shelling to hospitals and medical centers. The Eastern Ghouta has been witnessing intensive shelling during the past few days, primarily on Ein Tarma.
In the same context, Violent explosions rocked at dawn today, the 7th of September 2017, the western countryside of Hama. The SOHR learned that the explosions were caused by Israeli missile strikes that targeted the northeast of Mesyaf city located in Hama countryside. Cross sources confirmed to the SOHR that the shelling targeted a vanguard camp, a short and medium-range missile depot and a scientific research center where some of the regime’s allied militiamen, of non-Syrian nationalities, who are fighting in the regime’s side in Hama, were present. As a result, at least 7 members of the regime forces were killed and injured. Whether there are casualties among the regime’s allied militiamen is still unknown.
An explosion was heard last night in the city of Azaz which is controlled by the rebel and Islamic factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo, it was revealed that it caused an explosion of an IED in Al-Dawaar Al-Kabeer area, and no information about casualties till now, while clashes are taking place between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and the fighters of the Islamic and rebel factions on the other, in areas in the vicinity of Al-Bohooth Al-Elmyah, in the western outskirts of Aleppo city, amid exchange of targeting between the two parties, without information about casualties.
