The UAE Air Force F-16 squadron deployed to an airbase in Jordan has conducted a fresh wave of effective and lethal airstrikes on the positions and gathering points of the terrorist organisation Daesh that showed the whole world its savagery and ugly violation of all human and religious values.
In their fresh attack, the UAE F-16s struck Daesh's oil refineries to dry up the terror group's sources of funding.
The fighter het squadron returned safely to base.
On 10 and 12 February, the UAE F-16s launched several similar effective and lethal airstrikes against the terror group's positions.
The UAE F-16s arrived recently in Jordan upon directives from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and orders from His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The stationing of F-16s displays the support extended by the UAE leadership and people at all levels and in all spheres to the fraternal Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the UAE's unwavering and constant solidarity with its brothers.
It also expresses the UAE's appreciation of Jordan's pioneering role and substantial sacrifices for the security and stability of the region, as well as its support to the military effort of Jordan's Arab Army and its effective participation in the Global Coalition to counter the terrorist group, Daesh.
The UAE's initiative of backing Jordan's official and popular stance stems from its deep belief in the need for pan-Arab cooperation on the eradication of terrorism, in words and actions, and bolstering regional security and stability through collective and effective fight against such terror groups and their erroneous ideology and brutal actions.
