Funeral for 15 Yemeni soldiers killed in attacks An official funeral was carried out Monday in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa for the 15 security soldiers who were killed in the attack that targeted the intelligence and state TV headquarters in the city of Aden (south Yemen)

on Saturday.The Minister of Interior General Abdelqader Qhahtan led the mourners. He was accompanied by the Yemeni army's Chief of Staff General Ahmed Ali al-Ashwal, Intelligence Director General Ghalem al-Qamsh, Commander of the Central Security Forces General Fadl bin Yehia al-Quossi and other military and security commanders along with the victims' families, who urged the Yemeni security authorities to hunt the assailants and bring them to justice as shown by their stating that:  "They have to receive the fair sanction for the crime they committed against Yemen and the Yemeni people and also for their destiny to be an example for the criminals who are working against the core values of the Islamic religion."
The victims were named and listed by Yemen's state-run news agency SABA: Abdu Saleh Sharaabi, Abdullah Mohammed al-Sabry, Majid al-Yateem, Wael al-Hassani, Amin Mohammed al-Obaidi, Mohammed Ali Jahdar, Ali Yehia Qassem al-Assad, Mohammed Ahmed al-Salafi, Mansour Mohammed al-Matari, Abderahman Mahioub Seif, Khaled Abdullah al-Houthi, Fares Ali al-Yadei, Nasser Ali Hadi, Adel al-Harazi and Abdelqawi al-Souti.
The Yemeni Defence Ministry on Saturday announced that 14 soldiers were killed and seven others were injured in a suicide attack that targeted an intelligence headquarters in Aden. Arabstoday sources revealed that the attack had also targeted the state TV headquarters which is close to the one of the intelligence. A car bomb, anti-tanks shells and machine guns were used by the assailants according to eye witnesses.Meanwhile a gas pipeline to Balhalf export terminal in the south of the country was blown up by unidentified agents. The damage done to the pipe was severe and caused the shut down of all oil exportation in the terminal. The pipeline is part owned by Total (40 percent share holding) and has been the subject of multiple attacks by islamic extremist groups since the country's further destabilisation in 2011 due to anti-government factions.Provincial Security Chief Brigadier General Ahmed Omeir stated: "Unknown gunmen blew up the gas pipeline at Station 5, in the village of Zahira, in Shabwa province."
