Leading member of Houthi militias Hamoud Lotf Al Washli has been killed during an air raid from the Arab Coalition against the militants' strongholds in the southern area of Medi city. Local sources revealed that the military operations expanded in the surrounding areas of Nar Mountain on the eastern side of Mokha.
Yemeni governmental troops launched artillery attack on the mitants' sites near Nar Mountain areas in coincidence with a missile attack on their strongholds in Hameli and Khaled Camp. The forces loyal to the legitimate government achieved notable advance towards Yakhtel in the northern area of Mokha directorate. However, Houthi militias and forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh launched artillery attack targeting historic Cairo Citadel in the center of Taiz and its surrounding residential areas.
In the same context, extremist militias loyal to Qaeda managed to seize a shipment of weapons on its way to the Yemeni resistance loyal to the legitimate government in Taiz. The extremists suspended the trucks carrying the weapons in the road linking between Karen and Aben.
According to sources, the extremist elements suspended the trucks carrying the weapons to the resistance elements in Taiz. They set the fire on one of the trucks, as they seized their contents.
