Vice President and Prime Minister of Yemen, Khaled Mahfouz Bahah, yesterday met in Riyadh, Saelm bin Khalifa Al Ghafli, UAE Ambassador to Yemen.
The official Yemen News Agency said they discussed the latest developments in the areas of security, relief and rebuilding of the infrastructure damaged by the Huthi rebels and the Saleh group in all the governorates of Yemen.
It said Baha and Al Ghafli reviewed the efforts of Arab coalition to rebuild the vital sectors in coordination with the government of Yemen and local authorities. He commended the positive role played by the coalition states, notably, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, to back the people of Yemen.
For his part, the UAE envoy conveyed the regards of the UAE leadership to the President of Yemen, Vice President and the Cabinet members, reiterating the country's continuous support to the people of Yemen to overcome this critical situation.
He stressed that the UAE's support to the people of Yemen will continue until peace and stability are restored across the country.
