Moroccan Basketball Federation fails to set season date

Officials say Morocco needs a Basketball revival A dispute within the Moroccan Basketball Federation's Interim Committee has resulted in the failure to set a fixed start date for the new Basketball league season.Head of Committee, Mohammed Dinnia is being blamed for not creating a harmonious atmosphere within the Committee. Some members have told Arabstoday that the sports ministry is the only authority entitled to find an urgent solution in reviving the "poor" state of Moroccan basketball.
It is believed that conflict in ideas and personal interests have hindered the efforts to hold regular league meetings.
The Volcanic Renaissance team won the last Moroccan Basketball League title.
