Moroccan footballer Adel Taarabt
Moroccan footballer Adel Taarabt said that he would love to join Marseille in the summer transfer.
The Moroccan is expected to leave Rangers after they were
relegated to the Championship, but he has yet to receive a concrete offer.
The lack of interest in the player certainly comes as a surprise given that he has largely impressed upon his return to the Premier League.
As a result, Taarabt is ready to consider a move to France and has issued a come and get me plea to Marseille.
"That is the club of my heart, I have not been in direct contact with anyone, but my friend Joey Barton has told everyone at the club about me," Taarabt told the French newspaper Le Parisien.
"If they want me, I'm going. This is the first club I supported," the Moroccan football player added.
Taarabt enjoyed a successful last season on a personal level, managing five goals and four assists in 31 Premier League games.
The 24-year-old managed to prove his worth in arguably Europe’s strongest league, which means the lack of interest in the winger is a major surprise.
