Creative works of the eminent artist, Bader Almansour Sheikha Altaf Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Honorary Chairperson of Al-Sadu House, has taken pride in creative works of the eminent artist, Bader Almansour. "The alphabetic al-Sadu is a wonderful artistic innovation presenting new letters derived from the original form of al-Sadu," said Sheikha Altaf in remarks to KUNA on the occasion of organizing the artist exhibition, held at the society headquarters.
Inspired by his works, the society has begun using these newly-formed letters in its messages, she said, expressing deep satisfaction at Almansour's success in presenting a new product in the world of traditional weaving and artistic works.
The Kuwaiti artist uses triangles in al-sadu patterns to create letters close in shape to the Arabic alphabet. He also uses keyboard keys in some of his innovative pieces. Essentially, he has used various metallic and wooden materials and re-cycled materials to represent al-Sadu Almansour praised Sheikha Altaf for her sponsorship of his fair, due till December 5.
