Sudan's Oil Minister Awad Al-Jaz
Khartoum - Abedalgoum Ashmeag

Sudan's Oil Minister Awad Al-Jaz Sudanese Oil Minister Awad Al-Jaz, renewed his government's stance on stopping South Sudan oil flow through Sudanese territories by the end of the deadline of 60 days if South Sudan did not commit to implementing the signed agreements between the two countries.
During his meeting with delegations of oil companies, the Chinese National Petroleum Company (CNPC) and the Malaysian PETRONAS Company that are operating in oil production in Sudan, the Sudanese minister said that South Sudan "still has the chance" to avoid oil shutdown.
"The ball is still in their" the Sudanese minister said, adding that they can avoid the prevention of oil pumping by fully implementing the Cooperation Agreement.
Meanwhile, the Chinese CNPC and the Malaysian PETRONAS companies expressed hope for reaching a solution to avoid stoppage of South Sudan oil pumping through Sudan territories.
Information and Broadcasting Minister and the Official Spokesperson of the Government of Southern Sudan, Barnaba Marial Benjamin said in a statement that Khartoum's decision is "not justified" and its only purpose is to "destroy" the signed agreement between the two countries.
Khartoum accuses Juba of supporting the armed rebels in Blue Nile and South Kordofan states, whereas Juba denies this and blames the Sudanese government of supporting Juba’s opponent General David Yao Yao, who lead a war against Salva Kiir’s government.
