Anyone can understand music knows that, Angham is a great singer, known as queen of senses, but on a personal level, a lot of people call her arrogant and unsocial, started from her dispute with her father, musician, Mohammed Ali Suleiman and her sister who decided to enter the field, Gnawa.
Regarding this dispute, “Arab Today” managed to find out reasons behind it. This dispute lasted 10 years, despite the fact that Angham’s father was the one who presented her to the audience and composed her first two albums which were great success, but when she decided to marry the sound engineer Magdy Aref without her father consent, the heat between them increased for a long time. This dispute was solved by her uncle, which made Angham returns home to take care of her father while he was sick.
This dispute was renewed when her sister “Gnawa” decided to enter the artistic field, especially when Angham said in a statement that her sister has no talent, and she advised her to seek another career.
After this statement, Mohammed Ali Suleiman decided to help his daughter Gnawa and gave her a song like what he did with Angham years ago, which Angham considered as challenge between her and her father. Gnawa is currently shooting a movie titled “Slaves and dreams”, which she will sing its song, along with another drama and an album with number of poets and composers, leaving the audience to be the judge of her talent.
Musician, Mohammed Ali Suleiman posted on his Facebook account a message saying that, his time is almost over and he asked his audience to take care of his mother, daughters and grandsons and daughters. This post was received with a lot of emotions, wishing the end of the dispute between him and Angham.
