British stars soak up the sunshine in Dubai

Rita Ora and Nell McAndrew escaped to the UAE One of the fittest people in showbusiness, model Nell McAndrew, chose to spend the festive season under the warm winter sun of the United Arab Emirates this year.  The model, 39, saw in the New Year in Dubai with her husband, musician Paul Hardcastle, and their six year old son Devon. The Le Royal Meridien Hotel accommodated the bulging 28-weeks-gone pregnant belly and gym-bunny tendencies of the marathon-running model. Popstar Rita Ora also spent December in Dubai in an effort to extricate herself from the scandal surrounding her ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian’s alleged online attacks. The 22 year old tweeted and instagrammed photos of herself with local pals causing a stir at the Atlantis hotel, captioning the images with cryptic messages such as “He can’t hurt me here”.  She also broadcast pictures of herself wearing a traditional Arab headdress with rock-star sunglasses, captioning it: “Ya Habibi”.
