Moroccan Director Gehan Al Bahar revealed that she prepares currently the presentation of her first long film entitled “In Wonderland” in the cinemas this month, saying that the step comes after the success of a number of short films and TV clips.
She added that her new film discusses the story of a rich and arrogant woman, while she has been pushed to live with a poor family to suffer from critical and serious conditions in the heart of Atlas Mountains. She added that the film aims to underline the critical conditions witnessed in this area in the framework of harshness of life, climatic conditions and the absence of necessary facilities.
She added that a large number of superstars participate in the film, including Mohamed Al Shobi, Magdoline Al Edressi, Malek Khamis and Huda Sedki. The Moroccan director did not participate in the film as director only, as she participated in writing its scenario. She also wrote a number of TV drama shows.
She added that they faced a large number of challenges during the recent period due to the harshness of climate, saying that the challenges are considered one of the major aspects of long films. She added that the filming of the new movie took a long period of time due to the increasing scenes.
