The Meknès Drama Festival honored at its sixth session the actor El Hadj Mohamed Tesouli, on Friday, at the Manouni Cultural House, in recognition of the first generation of artists, theater and television pioneers, and filmmakers who strongly marked their name at the youth center of Bouchentov in Casablanca.
Al-Haj Al-Tasouli told Arabs Today that this honor is a recognition of his efforts at a time when material resources were weak, but he loved the artistic field, adding that today at after honoring him in Meknes, he gives the torch to young artists. He also thanked the festival management for their appreciation and recognition of his efforts throughout his career.
The actor Mohamed Tesouli, is one of the pioneers of theatrical movement in Morocco, his father participated in the rural war against Spanish colonialism, and his origin from Taza, lived in the Darb Sultan in Casablanca, his career began since 1951, at the age of 11.
