Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe
Sources have told Arabstoday that the Turkish Government is to grant Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe Turkish nationality because of the important role she has played in reviving tourism in Turkey,
through concerts and activities.
Sources closw to Haifa said the Lebanese star welcomed the gesture and thanked the Turkish State. Haifa also praised the important role Turkey plays in the region and said that it was the first time in her life that she would acquire a non–Arab nationality. The singer said plans to have more concerts in Istanbul and other Turkish cities.
