Emilio de la Morena returned to his Spanish roots in his autumn/winter 2012-13 collection that was presented during New York Fashion Week. The collection presented hooded capes belted at the waist
and maxi skirts beneath them.
He made sure that waists were defined in his signature cocktail dresses. The colour palette ranged from deep and evocative: forest green, black, petrol blue, oxblood.
Cuter and more immediately contemporary was the pale pink knitwear, worn with skinny faux leather trousers for a rock 'n' roll take on the de la Morena girl's wardrobe.
