Liv Tyler
Her dad, Steve Tyler, is one of the original headbangers, so it is perhaps no surprise that Liv Tyler has made a career out of flaunting her pedigree locks.
The actress and model first flaunted
her shiny chestnut tresses for Pantene Pro-V back in 1996. And now she's back as the newest face - or rather hair - of the shampoo brand.
Pantene is launching a brand new collection of products that has been seven years in the making.
The new range will hit the shops on November 1. It hopes to change the way women shop for hair care by simplifying the ranges - and using NASA technology.
Liv was a natural choice for the brand, and not only because of her Pantene history but also because she looks as beautiful as she did 15 years ago.
She rejoins an illustrious succession of Pantene models including Cat Deeley, Eva Mendes, Shilpa Shetty and Naomi Watts.
The fresh-faced beauty will be appearing in both print and TV ad campaigns, championing the brand new ‘Repair and Protect’ range for normal to thick hair.
The 34-year-old said: 'I’m really excited about working with Pantene on this new project, especially as I did a Pantene ad back in 1996 when I was 19.
'I’ve tried lots of different hair care brands over the years, but Pantene is my favourite as it always leaves my hair looking and feeling really healthy.'
Pantene's latest products feature new-to-the-world ingredients that are proven to deliver results.
While researching the products Pantene producers Procter & Gamble
used a similar microscope to the one NASA has used to study the surface of Mars - only they were taking a close look at the surface of individual strands of hair.
This enabled P&G to better understand how different hair fibres react with different ingredients depending on their physical structure... Helping scientists to really 'discover the secret to healthy looking hair'.
