New Bridal collection soon
Topshop is set to launch their first ever wedding dress collection, and it's to be designed by the British design talent Richard Nicoll.
"Want to get married just so we can wear our @studio_nicoll
bridal collection set to land in June," the Topshop team Tweeted. "Can't give you a sneak peek but wow!"
Although the details remain under wraps, it is expected that the gowns will sport sheer fabrics and loose feminine cuts.
BHS is the only other fashion brand in the Arcadia portfolio, Topshop's parent company, to offer wedding dresses, with prices ranging from $100 to $700.
Nicoll's spring/summer 2012 collection, featured delicate floor-length gowns, lengths of organza, and modern tailoring, and it is believed the Studio Nicoll Bridal Collection for Topshop will draw on these styles. However it is hoped that the price points will be significantly lower than his own eponymous label, which starts at around $400 for a vest dress and goes up to $1500 for a silk layered shift.
