This post-industrial apartment is located in the center of Warsaw in a building of an old factory of silver and bronze which was recently revitalized. The owner, French foreigner, asked the creative team at Chalupko Design to create a modern, cozy interior which would fit to the historical building and its facade. This partially dictated the industrial interior design scheme. Bricks, a platform table, black steel book shelving and bar-chairs add up to the original character of the rooms, all kept in a modern and light style.
The living room acts as the social core of the apartment; the room exhibits a pleasant dynamics due to carefully chosen decorative elements. The entire apartment is calm, neutral, but also welcoming and pleasant. The beige palette is contrasted with walnut wood, black granite counter-top in the kitchen, black steel elements in the living room, dark grey tiles in the bathroom and dark wallpaper in the bedroom. The overall impression is that of warmth and lightness
