Sleek armchair
Initially designed for the “Ciel de Paris” restaurant in the French capital’s Tour Montparnasse, this sleek armchair design steals the show in any space, be it residential or commercial. Part of a high-end collection designed by French
designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance for Tabisso, the modernly elegant armchair was displayed at Milan Design Week 2014. Sensual curves provoke admiration, while the customization offers a multitude of options for elements like the shell, fabric, footing, swivel and casters. Made to order, this new version of the sleek armchair design was designed with environmental issues in mind.
Here is how the designer imagined the elegant armchair: “Lines are stretched, subtle, fluid, for a welcoming and generous result. The plywood shell molded in 3D, with various essences looses itself in the thickness of the lining, giving a warm & neat aspect. From the conception to the choice of material, sustainable development is a priority. This chair is the first example of this 3D molded technology in France.” Tabisso describes the sleek armchair design as defined by uncompromising beauty: “The shell in 3D-veneer of various wood species gradually disappears in the foam structure of the armchairs, giving them this warm yet sophisticated touch. ” sleek armchair design
