Leading Egyptian media personalities have welcomed the forthcoming visit of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to the UAE on Sunday.They added that President el-Sisi will express the appreciation of the people of Egypt, and their love, to the UAE leadership, government and people, noting that the visit will further strengthen the UAE- Egyptian ties, set to become a model for inter-Arab relations.
Raafat el-Saba, head of the information sector at the Egyptian General Authority for Information said, "The visit reflects the appreciation of Egypt and its President of the stance of the UAE in support of Egypt in all fields, among others, backing the Egyptian economy and Egypt's counter-terrorism campaign. The World Future Energy Summit, which will be attended by the President of Egypt in Abu Dhabi, once more reflects the world's recognition of the UAE's efforts in the areas of Green Economy, diversification of energy resources, and focus on renewable energy." Abdel Ghani Ajaj, deputy head of the external media at the Authority and former cultural attaché at the Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, noted that the visit comes at the height of UAE-Egyptian relations.
Other media personalities expect that the visit will be successful, given the interest of leaders of both countries in the relations between the two countries, citing the UAE-funded projects in Egypt.
