Dubai - Arab Today

The National Media Council, NMC, represented by the Reading Club team, has announced its support to the "Reading Nation" campaign, in cooperation with its strategic partners, to implement the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

This step comes in support of the Ramadan campaign which aims to provide five million books to students in the refugee camps and around the Muslim world. For this purpose, it plans to provide two million books for students in the refugee camps and establish 2,000 libraries around the world.

The NMC extended thanks to its strategic partners for their continuous support. The NMC's participation in the campaign came in the light of its keenness to encourage local departments to contribute to this national campaign.
