twofour54, the commercial arm of Abu Dhabi's Media Zone Authority will celebrate the rich culture, heritage, and talent of the UAE at Qasr Al Hosn Festival by showcasing a collection of local creative projects directed by Emirati talent with the support of twofour54.
twofour54's production unit will document the festival and is set to captivate visitors with an innovative public programme that honours the UAE's culture and history.
As part of the programme, twofour54 will screen a series of films produced by twofour54 at the Festival's cinema. One of the films to be screened during the festival is twofour54's "13:37". Directed by community member Eisa Al Subousi, "13:37" is a psychological drama set that shows the struggle of Mariam, a young wife and mother, as she ponders the idea of her individuality through a series of arguments with her husband, Mayed. Her ongoing pursuit for an answer to the fundamental question of: "what is ‘us'?" leads to the discovery of a deeper cause for her marital troubles.
Other films on twofour54's public programme include: Sunset State, Feeding Five Hundred, Dark Symphony, Bahar, Daddy ABC, The Orphanage, Waiting, Smaller than the Sky, Ice, Shadow, and Emirati Expressions.

In support of preserving the UAE's culture and history, twofour54 will also host a stand entitled Setting Emirati Creativity in Motion by showcasing the country's traditions and customs through film and also promoting the career opportunities available in media to aspiring Emirati talent. The stand will showcase the vibrancy of a career in the media industry that plays a pivotal role in keeping culture and heritage alive and the options available to Emiratis, who can choose and pursue their career path through internships, volunteer work, training programmes and entrepreneurship schemes.
twofour54 will display different projects it has supported, from TV and film productions to apps and comic books developed by community members. There will be a download station of creative lab's latest apps: the digital e-book, My Mom's Pretty Veil; electronic game, Red Bug; and comic book, Shaheen.
