The Emirates News Agency, WAM, channel on YouTube has attracted over 1.1 million viewers.
Jamal Naser Al-Swuaider, Acting Executive Director of WAM stated that the news agency is trying to keep up with the latest technology to
highlight all the events and developments in all the emirates.
Mr. Al-Swuaider reaffirmed that WAM, with all its divisions, is keen to cover progress witnessed by various sectors of the country, including the construction boom and the economic, developmental, environmental protection and sustainability. In addition to transportation and communication and the relationship between heritage and development and deliver this to the largest segment of the world population.
He explained that the WAM channel on YouTube includes more than 1735 videos, giving its viewers the chance to become the part of the events on the ground.
A report by the WAM said that the video clip entitled "Air patrols detect 100 traffic law violations in Abu Dhabi" received maximum number of hits of more than 450,000 viewers.
