The UAE's Ministry of Education has said that a group of 30 school principals, vice-principals and teachers from across the country are to visit the United Kingdom to participate
in an advanced residential course in School Leadership, Gulf Today has reported.
The School Leadership Programme (SLP) will allow over 700 Emirati school teachers, supervisors and principals to acquire and implement international best practices in teacher leadership to improve the standard of leadership in their institutions.
Fawzia Hassan Gareeb, Assistant Undersecretary for education operations, UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) said the course forms part of the ministry’s drive to develop local human resources and raise the quality of teaching skills to international levels as well as upgrading the levels of leadership and managerial competencies in the education field through global training opportunities.
