Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum
In the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and U.A.E. Minister of Finance, Dubai Municipality and the Canadian University sign a cooperation agreement to promote scientific and practical
relations between the two sides.
The signing of the agreement came on the sidelines of the opening of Gulfood Exhibition 2014, which today launched at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The agreement was signed by Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Municipality and Butti Saeed Al Kindi, Chancellor of the Canadian University of Dubai and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
The agreement comes within the framework of Dubai Municipality's quest to expand its relations with prestigious scientific bodies worldwide in order to improve services provided to the municipality's customers and to expand its scientific and practical horizons. Through the agreement, the municipality is seeking to cooperate with the university in the field of food safety, the environment and public health and safety.
