Egyptian students will march to Rafah to support Gaza

The American University in Cairo Students of The American University in Cairo have burned the Israeli flag inside the campus on Sunday afternoon in protest over the ongoing Israeli assault on Palestinians.  The AUC students union announced a fundraiser to buy medical supplies and clothes for the people of Gaza. They also announced a march next Thursday headed to Rafah crossing to deliver what they have bought for the people of Gaza and to declare their support for them.
The spokeswoman for the students union Basant Siam said to Arabstoday that the union has organised the march in cooperation with Palestinian colleagues who contacted their families in the Gaza Strip. Siam added that they don’t yet know whether authorities will allow the march to cross to Gaza.
