Professor Hamid M.K. AlNaimiy, Chancellor of Sharjah University, and a delegation from the Australian University of Swinburne, have discussed methods of cooperation in scientific research in the fields of the environment, continuing education, energy conservation, and medical and pharmaceutical research.
The two sides also discussed cooperation between the two universities in the areas of graduate studies and the issuance of joint certificates for PhD. and Master's Degrees, especially in the field of astronomy.
Professor AlNaimiy stressed that the University of Sharjah has achieved great scientific renaissance under the guidance of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and President of the University, through several partnership agreements, academic cooperation and scientific research signed with the world universities, scientific institutes and centres.
