Islamabad - Arabstoday

Front pages headlines that announce the death of bin Laden The brother of Osama bin Laden's fifth wife has urged Pakistani authorities to free her to allow her to return to her family in Yemen. Amal al-Sadah, bin Laden's youngest wife, is still being held prisoner with her children in her home in Pakistan more than nine months after bin Laden was killed by U.S. Navy SEALS, BikyaMasr.com reported.
Her brother Zachariah Ahmed al-Sadah, who has said she was not guilty of al-Qaida activities, said he has appealed to Pakistan's chief of justice, Iftikhar Chaudhry, to allow her to return to Yemen.
Amal Al-Sadah reportedly is suffering from a wound to her knee after being shot by U.S. soldiers during the raid that led to the death of her husband and is still unable to walk.
Her brother told reporters she is not receiving proper care for her injury in Pakistan. He also said her children had been traumatized by the killing of their father and could not resume their education because they were forbidden to leave the house.
He said he hopes his sister can return to Yemen to live away from violence and controversy and called her a"housewife whose ambition was to look after her three daughters and two sons."
A Yemen human rights activist said she should be released.
"Since no proof was brought forward [implicating her in wrongdoing], Amal should walk free," the activist said. "She is Yemeni and should therefore be allowed to return to the safety of her family. Such a violation of her rights is unacceptable."
