Al Ain Zoo is participating in the third annual Qasr Al Hosn Festival being held in Abu Dhabi.
The zoo's participation comes in line with its effort to educate the public on the UAE's rich heritage and wildlife, in addition to the education and conservation programmes that are currently being adopted by Al Ain Zoo.
Commenting on the participation, Muna Al Dhaheri, the Chief of Conservation and Education at Al Ain Zoo, said, "Al Ain Zoo's participation in the Qasr Al Hosn Festival comes in line with our commitment to educate the public about our nation's rich heritage and conservation efforts. Al Ain Zoo is home to conservation programmes that are significant and strategic at a global level, offering the public various means to learn more about them." "The Qasr Al Hosn Festival is a unique platform for us to reach out to the public and cultivate a knowledge culture about our conservation efforts that focus on several aspects including animal management, wildlife sustainability and protection of desert species on an international scale," she added.
Throughout the 10-day festival period, the Al Ain Zoo team will be showcasing live shows including its unique bird show.
